How does SkinTē® fit into my lifestyle?

Beauty Treats are great to reach for in the morning when you’re rushing to get out the door, for an afternoon pick-me-up, or after dinner for a nourishing and blissful dessert! What could be better than treating yourself from the inside out?

SkinTē is not designed to be a "diet food". However, it is made without dairy, soy, grains, or added sugar. We use monk fruit and erythritol to sweeten. It is low in calories and a complementary addition to any health and beauty program.

How is SkinTē® unique?

We created our kickass Beauty Equation to deliver a powerful punch of nutrition AND taste. Each SkinTē has three components:

  • collagen peptides - at least 3000mg per serving
  • foundational herbs - proprietary blend of herbs formulated by Dr. Bader
  • blissful ingredients - additional nutrition and amazing flavors

SkinTē provides nutritional support for hair, skin, nails, and total wellbeing from the inside out.

What is collagen?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and the foundation of vibrant skin, bones, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage... even teeth and blood vessels. Starting around age 30, collagen starts to break down faster than it can be produced.

The goal is to maintain collagen levels. Eating collagen ensures the necessary amino acids are available in adequate amounts and the right ratios to promote the production of collagen. The optimal synthesis of collagen also requires certain nutrients be present such as vitamin C and copper.

Why combine collagen with tea?

The magic happens when we combine collagen with tea.

Tea seems simple, but is quite complex. When we formulated SkinTē, we carefully selected teas and herbs for their collagen-friendly ingredients such as vitamin C, copper, antioxidants, isoflavones, and other compounds. When you're nourished on the inside, it shows on the outside.

What is the source of SkinTē's collagen?

We have chosen a collagen supplier we feel great about thanks to their rigorous testing by outside laboratories. Their collagen is free from insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, steroids, antibiotics and hormones. This supplier's research and development team has perfected collagen hydrolysate, which is 95% bioavailable to the human body.

All SkinTē products contain kosher collagen hydrolysate sourced from grass-fed beef.  Berry Lime, Green Tea Citrus, & Hibiscus Berry Beauty Treats also contain collagen sourced from pork.

Can I get collagen by eating meat, poultry, and fish?

Collagen is found in the connective tissue, skin, and bones of these animals. Therefore, if you boil the bones and skin, and drink the broth, yes, you will get collagen. However, eating a regularly-cooked piece of fish, meat, or fowl will not provide you with sufficient collagen. In addition, SkinTē's collagen hydrolysate is more bio-available than the collagen found in these other sources.

How much SkinTē® should I enjoy to get enough collagen daily?

Controlled trials show oral collagen consumption of 3000mg daily for 12 weeks promotes skin elasticity. Each SkinTē contains at least 3000mg of collagen.

Is SkinTē® organic?

Organic is really important to us, but we recognize that it's not the only marker of quality. Labeling "certified organic" is an expensive and lengthy process. Many top-quality suppliers choose not to be certified, but that doesn't diminish their integrity. We use ingredients from the sources we feel best about. All of our herbs and coffee are certified organic.

So, how do you pronounce SkinTē®?

We pronounce it "Skin Tea". You can also pronounce it "Skin Tee". We have also heard people pronounce it "Skin T". Pick what works for you. Ha!

Anything else?

Yes! We have high standards.

We wanted to be able to eat LOTS of SkinTē with reckless abandon. We chose ingredients and packaging that we feel really great about. The best collagen. Organic herbs. The best possible natural sweeteners. We wanted the best for ourselves - and for YOU.
